Oh Basketball, how I miss you so!

Yes people the draft has occured, and a whole lot of tall but amazingly(freightenly) skinny high school kids were drafted in the first round. For those of you who don't know what that means, basically the 1st 30 ppl drafted get GUARANTEED contracts. Not including shoe contracts(i.e Sebastian Telfair's deal w/addidas),food, and beverages. These young ones will be very wealthy without having played one full possession on an NBA court. BTW Telfair is Stephon Marbury's cousin and if you don't know who he is I just can't help you right now.
I hope these kids are prepared to work and learn through all the criticism, b/c for every LeBron and Amare there are more Kuames. And yeah KG and "Bean"(aka Kobe)are great now, but they also had to struggle through their early years. Hopefully the trand is turning and more kids will go to college to learn the fundamentals of basketball, then the quality of the NBA will rise again.
